Glad to see Skye wants to be a dad. Hope he pops the big question.

He’s tried before, but Reiko keeps turning him down. But I do hope this helps change her mind on matters and what’s bothering her.

Well when she said “I don’t think I could…” I was abit concerned. Could that mean she’s barren?; unable to even have a child?

No, it has something to do with an inheritance in her family she sees as a curse. One shedoesnt want Skye or her kid to have. Which is why Yoko was pushing Jazmin to get togather with Quick. Moreover, Skye knows this but still hopes. That’s what he explains to Izzy, the girl he fought against in the ring for his title.

It would be interesting to see Reiko become a mother. The poor gal sure has a lot to think about when it comes to such responsibility. We all known that Reiko’s the fun type of girl, but who knows? Maybe in the future she’ll change her about the idea of having children. Only time will tell.

Reiko look so different without her confidence. Perhaps Jazmin can give her some pointers about becoming a responsible adult.

Except that she too has been nagged by mom on the kids issue and she too don’t feel like settling down (especially with her mixed feelings about Quick and Chrissy) being such close friends n all

True… But when it comes to eventually settling down and dealing with the responsibilities, I firmly believe that Jazmin reigns over her sister. Jazmin (it’s safe to say) is saving herself for marriage and waiting for the right guy. Reiko loves being a party girl, and she knows having a family will change all that.

And I believe Jazmin has a bit of that curse in her, too. But she has better control over it. Remember how she reacted when Chrissy told her that she and Quick got back together, and Raven was there to witness it? That had to be some of that ‘curse’ energy.

I understand that Mommy Dearest wants grandchildren, but I’m saying that in that particular race, Jazmin will eventually cross the finish line first.

Key Word: Eventually.

Thing is that since Mommy dearest has always been nagging at her for “grandkids” she got tired of preaching to Rei so moved onto Jazmin but Rei thought that she’d be free from that, now that Skye is kinda getting the “Daddy tingles” she’s still unsure about it (giving up her “freedom”) like that

Well, this is quite an interesting turn of events here. I knew for the longest time that Skye has stuck it out for Reiko here as he told Issy, but I believe he’s really getting serious about wanting to have kids with Reiko. With this whole talk about graduating from college, perhaps Skye is realizing that he needs to stop fooling around and settle down. Also, from personal experience, I have noticed that when someone else has kids, the talk of kids does come about. In fact, this actually reminds me of NBC’s This Is Us episode from last week.

On another note, If Rei ever does have kids with Skye, she’ll never have to worry about buying formula, what with the tankers she carries around.

If anything, they’d just end up getting bigger.

Any ideas on how this’ll affect Chrissy and Jazmin? Also, if Reiko is so worried about her cursed bloodline and her freedom then why does she encourage Jazmin to get togather with Quick when she too shares that bloodline? Shouldn’t Reiko stop her instead? Or am I missing something?

Long-term reader and lurker here. I’d say Reiko and Skye really shouldn’t be thinking of getting kids anytime soon. I mean, they’re both still too mentally immature for it, they wouldn’t be able to handle growing a kid well. Besides, they’re both about to graduate. Shouldn’t their main focus and worry be financial stability? As in getting a job and moving out of their parents’s house? Because I’m sure Reiko’s little dressing-up job in that bar or cafe or whatever it was ain’t going to cut it when it comes to paying for real rent and other bills. Seriously, having a child should be the LAST thing on their mind right now.
